Mother's Day Flowers!
We all know moms have a hard job. To say this past year has been generally harder on moms than in previous might be the biggest understatement of the century! Last year Grace + Grit wasn’t able to bring you flowers as I was looking after my little one full time but I am SO excited about our offering this year! Whether your mom is near or far we have something you can send to express your gratitude and love for being your #1 fan! Or maybe your partner deserves some special flowers and treats for all they do! Or maybe your friend gave birth DURING A PANDEMIC and you want to send something to acknowledge this super power. You can also send flowers to let someone know you’re thinking about them should they find this day to be a hard one.
All that said, I think this year we can really broaden our horizons to whom we send Mother’s Day flowers to. Maybe you spent this past year watching your work wife bounce a baby on her knee or deflect a Nerf ball during your Zoom calls. Or maybe your FTM (that’s “full time mom”) bestie has been parenting in a pandemic without a local support system. The reasons are endless because no two moms are alike. And I hope you find something here to express your appreciation and admiration for the work they do.

We are always looking for ways to give back and nothing hits harder when you become a mom than the realization that some people mother under unfortunate circumstances and on their own, without a partner. That’s why we will be donating 10% from our Mother’s Day fresh flower website sales to Moms for Moms - a non profit dedicated to assisting single mothers through out New York City.
“Moms for Moms supports single mothers in need through the assembly & distribution of our signature postpartum recovery and newborn care packages. Our care packages are filled with the essentials a new mother needs most after childbirth, including diapers, wipes, infant clothing, baby bottles, blankets, feminine care products, hygiene items and more.
To date, Moms for Moms has served thousands of single mothers across New York City that are often the victims of abuse, homelessness, job loss and financial uncertainty. Knowing that in the first few months of your child’s life you won’t have to choose between buying diapers for your baby or feeding yourself, a new mother can focus on the other important aspects of her life, including work, school, and above all, creating a loving and secure attachment to her newborn baby. “
We’re also partnering again with Tend Greenpoint and ALSO with our favorite bakery Ovenly (Park Slope and WIlliamsburg locations only)! Bouquets are available for pre-order through their websites with pick up during normal business hours Saturday 5/8 and Sunday 5/9.
